Shukr Qurban is considered a worship in our religion and is usually a sacrifice made by a person to pay their debt of gratitude to Allah. This Kurban is made to express gratitude to Allah for a blessing, abundance, or a miraculous event that has occurred in the person’s life. Sacrificing in gratitude, especially for blessings such as healing, health, or salvation, after difficult times such as illness or disaster, is also recommended. The purpose of this worship is to express one’s gratitude to Allah and to be thankful for the blessings that He has bestowed upon them. Gratitude sacrifice does not have a specific purpose like a vow sacrifice. Therefore, the meat of the sacrifice can be consumed by the person who performs the sacrifice and their family, as well as distributed to those in need.
